RideStream race team will be at 2-fast on the 9th of April, Jerome and Jared on the 12th of April for NESBA and Jared on the 13th for NESBA at Pacific Raceways. We well also be racing May 3rd and 4th with WMRRA at Pacific.
The RideStream team has been busy! We’ve gotten Jared’s bike ready, taken the 2-fast New Racer School (recommended!) and had our first race.
Jerome had a bit of an oopsie in Turn 5 at Pacific Raceways at the NRS. Mike was able to get the bike together in time for the first race.
Our first race weekend was.. different. It contained snow, hail, and rain. It was Jared’s 2nd and Jerome’s 1st time out on Race Rains. Overall the team did ok, but with 2 crashes, a red flag, a restart and a shortened race (only 4 laps) there wasn’t much either rider could accomplish.

Come race day, we were up and running again. I think Jared has problems with his “I”
Gridded up. Gridding in Novice is Random, and Jared and Jerome are starting right next to each other almost in dead last. No, they didn’t finish in last.

Things are starting to come together with the team. However the top-secret LapStream unit will still be under heavy development when the first race hits. More about LapStream in coming blogs, stay tuned.
In terms of the race team, my (Jerome) race bike is coming a long. The suspension is currently at GP Suspension North (Barry Wressel of KFG) getting revalved, straightened and resprung for my weight. Plastics are on order, and the last remaining parts will be ordered through More Power Racing on the 1st. Here are a few pictures of the progress:
